Mission Resort Golf Club
Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida
February 18 - 22, 2026
THURSDAY - SATURDAY
6-Hole Matches
The first three days will be simple head-to-head 6-hole match play (with handicaps). A maximum of 6 points earned in any one match. A maximum of -3 points can be lost in any one match. You earn 1 point for winning a hole and -1 point for losing a hole. 0 points are awarded for tied holes. No points are awarded for winning a match. Each day you will play one opponent in your foursome for the first 6-holes (holes 1-6), a different opponent for the next 6-holes (holes 7-12), and yet another opponent for the final 6-holes (holes 13-18). Each 6-hole match will be played off the lowest player’s handicap.
SUNDAY
Ultimate Skins Match
The Ultimate Skins Match is the final 18-hole round played individually against your foursome (with handicaps). Each hole is played separately and is won by the player with the lowest score on the hole -- that golfer wins 'the skin'. The interesting part of the game happens when two or more players tie for the low score. In this case, there is 'no blood,' and the skin 'carries over' to the next hole, increasing its worth. Holes/Skins increase in value as the match goes on. Holes 1-6 are worth 1 skin each. Holes 7-12 are worth 2 skins each. Holes 13-15 are worth 3 skins each. Holes 16-18 are worth 4 skins each. Points earned in the skins match are added to your individual points earned on the first 3 days. Much like the match play, handicaps will be played off the lowest player’s handicap in the foursome. Pairing for the Ultimate Skins Match will be set based on the overall points standings thru the first three days.

Tin Cup Handicaps are calculated by taking the 20 most recent Tin Cup tournament scores at Tin Cup, divided by the number of rounds, subtract 72, then multiplied by 90%. For those with less than 20 scores, your handicap is created by adding your partial Tin Cup scores handicap + actual USGA handicap Index, which is multiplied by the weighted percentage. Those without Tin Cup tournament rounds will receive 90% of their USGA handicap Index. Those without a USGA handicap will be asked what they normally shoot for 18 holes, then we will subtract that number by 72 and multiply it by 90%. Don’t be a dick…we will fuck you up and “Rami” you if you sandbag.

The low point scorer in individual play from the prior day will be harnessed with the Pink Lady Challenge. That player will be required to tee off the first tee wearing the Pink Lady Outfit, with a pink golf ball (provided to you), and attempt to play the entire round with the ball. Although this experience is very humbling and humiliating, there is an upside to it…you might make some money and an earn an advantage.
1) Gain an Advantage: As Pink Lady, you are permitted to play from the Ladies Tees, so as long as you continue to wear the entire Pink Lady Outfit throughout your round, starting from the time you leave your room, and have not lost the pink ball. If you remove the Pink Lady Outfit or lose the pink ball, you will resume play from the Men’s tee starting with the next hole.
2) Make Some Money: The Pink Lady has a chance to show what she is made of by crushing that little pink ball down the first fairway (from the Ladies Tee) in front of all the men in the tournament. Every Man in the tournament unable to out drive the Pink Lady on the first tee will have to put $1 under her ball. Please be sure to have a single for the Lady if you suck off the tee. However, if you are man enough to out drive someone in a pink dress…playing a pink ball…then you will have nothing to worry about. The Pink Lady will be the first player to tee off each day, but will play in the 2nd group, and all drives drive(s) must be in the fairway to be counted.
3) Free Drinks? Golf is a sport with rich history and proper attire will be required on the course at all times. This applies to the Pink Lady as well. She must always conduct herself as the prim, proper Pink Lady that she is. The Pink Lady will not be allowed to hike up her dress when on the course and is limited to drinking the most feminine drinks available when in the dress (determined by the rest of the group).

Although this is not the official rule of the USGA, we will be implementing this rule for the Tin Cup Classic to maintain pace of play. The diagram to the left outlines your options if you lose your ball (or cannot hit it again) because your ball went into the woods, water hazard, parking lot, or other area where you lost your ball, regardless of if the hazard is marked or not, unless there is a defined drop area. The penalty for this drop is stroke only (not stroke and distance). You are limited to 3 minutes to look for your lost ball. More time may be allotted by your competitor if your group is keeping pace with the group in front of you. Please confirm location of your drop is acceptable with your competitor.
